Watched this entire show again last night, it never fails to leave me in awe… And this is one of my favorite numbers. Musically, they’re a match made in heaven. Hats off to Keith for writing this beautiful tune, and for letting John work his magic on it, because John’s last solo in this is just unbelievable. Love the way he plays around with give and take, space and energy… Goosebumps!
I watched an interview with Keith after this, and he said that John’s interpretation of this song is just killer, and that he loves the way he plays on it. I wholeheartedly agree with you, Keith.
